Description
Tom is an "avid" fly fisherman, who never seems to catch anything. He also enjoys bird watching and learning new languages. Currently he is working on Italian--perfect for ordering in Italian restaurants where none of the waiters speak Italian. He can say useful phrases such as "Parlo solo inglese." (I speak only English).
Tom also enjoys just about every sport, and had the character building experience of coaching youth sports for over ten years. He is originally from Georgia, but has lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last 30 years. Innkeeping is Tom's fourth career. He has been a Navy pilot, minister and now adds Innkeeping to his job as an Electrical Engineer for Weyerhaeuser Company.
Laura spent much of the last 29 years working as an RN and a mother. She has always enjoyed cooking (which is a good thing for the guests). Laura is a true native of Washington. She attributes her love of cooking to the good times in the kitchen growing up with her own mother, a Kansas farm girl. The Yarboroughs have two sons, two daughters-in-law and a "grand-dog" named Dexter. There is always lots of activity and laughing when "the boys" and family come home to visit.
