Description
I grew up in Southern California the youngest of three children. I have an older brother and sister. My sister has two children, and they recently had children. My family now lives in Boulder City, Nevada, and I visit them at least every six weeks. I love spending time with my new nephews, Jacob, who is four and Parker who is 1 1/2 years. Right now, they are the light of my life.
I have great childhood memories of spending summers on my grandmother's farm in South Dakota and learning to water ski in Arkansas. My family always went on summer and winter vacations while I was growing up. We camped and fished in the Sierras, visited Yosemite, Yellowstone and most of the National Parks west of Arkansas. Sundays were family days and I remember going to church and then for drives through the local mountains and having picnics. I am eagerly anticipating spending time with my child, and creating those same type of memories with my child. I can't wait to play in the park, teach him/her to swim and water-ski and take bike rides or walks through our neighborhood.
My favorite pastimes are reading, sitting on the beach, gardening, and traveling. I have been lucky enough to have visited Europe, Africa, Mexico, Greece, and Panama and look forward to traveling with our child. It is both our dream to help our child learn about many different places and cultures as well as visit them together.
