DateDestiny.com was developed in 2002 by City Focus, Inc. After operating a pre-designed personals system in a network of sites and partner sites for about 4 years, the system became increasingly disappointing to users, affiliates and staff. In order to best serve the Internet community, we designed a new personals system to meet all of our needs and the needs of our clients, including visitors, members and affiliate sites.
For members and visitors, our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable environment for meeting friends, lovers and soulmates. We have designed the new personals system with the feedback from our members over the last few years. As in our past system, the new system allows free registration and free profile listing for all users. Using newer and faster technologies, we have improved many features, including search capabilities, matchmaking features and media uploading options. Members can upload more file formats than in our past system and its even simpler. We will continue to develop new features for our members and visitors, so we encourage you to contact us with your feedback (try to keep it constructive).
For affiliates, we have made extensive improvements, including the ability to earn revenue through generous commissions from using or linking to our personals sites. We have also maintained the ability of affiliates to customize our site to match their site(s). Affiliates can, using a simple web interface and without knowing any HTML, customize logos, slogans, colors, fonts, alignments, links and the correspondence that we send out to members. These features exceed those of other major personals’ affiliate programs.
