Roadside Bride is a Pakistani Underground Psychedelic/Grunge Rock Band based in Lahore Pakistan.

About Us

Known for their passionate live energy, this classic rock influenced band was formed in Septmber 2006. Fazal, Graphic designer by profession but musician by passion decided to make his own band after playing bass for some local bands for some time. Putting himself on lead vocals he pulled in his old friend, hacker and another percussion maniac Omer to join him in the journey. Ahsan (a.k.a Lala) who is also Fazal's younger brother was already playing guitar in his school band Metal Oxide when Fazal and Omer asked him to join Roadside Bride; an offbeat name suggested by Omer. The final addition to the line-up was the immensely talented Omer on bass who had previously played in a lot of underground bands. This band from the start capitalized on live energy mainly inspired by the Who and alike.Ahsan yearns to break his guitar on stage but before that he needs to raise enough bling to buy himself a fender.

"The one without the fender"

Lala: "I yearn to break my guitar on stage...but before that I need to raise enough bling to buy myself a fender!"

"The one with the Samad Bond"

One fine day the band was gluing foam mattresses in the basement, at the drummer’s place, for sound proofing. After a couple of hours in the basement with Samad Bond and no windows for fresh air to enter, inevitably inhaling “Samad Bond”, the whole band with a couple of other friends got high and was stuck in the basement for hours with absolute no control on their minds. One started eating foam, the other went upstairs climbed up to the car’s roof and started dancing, a couple of them kept laughing at each other all this time and one, not knowing that he’s high kept cutting and gluing the foam on the walls with the best of his efforts.
