Riverdale School District
The Mission of the Riverdale School District is to provide an exceptional education. High expectations and individual accountability challenge students to become thoughtful and productive global citizens.
Riverdale is a public school system, but due to the demand for our high quality education and small class size, we also accept out-of-district students on a tuition basis.
Description
We believe that high academic and behavioral expectations create a foundation that challenges students to develop a passion for learning and to reach their full potential. Education is an on-going and dynamic process that takes place in a variety of settings. All children will grow in self-confidence through active participation in their own learning.
Riverdale District Offices and Grade School
We believe it is the responsibility of teachers, parents, and students to protect the rights of others and to acknowledge and honor the contributions of each individual. All children have a right to a physically safe, emotionally secure, and supportive learning environment.
We believe students thrive when teachers value children as individuals and unique learners. Students do best when they know their teachers and their teachers know them well. Small schools with small classes support these relationships. Staff development and opportunities for growth are essential to maintain the highest quality of teaching and learning.
Riverdale High School
We believe that families, school, and community must work together to support the education of children. Open, effective communication among the diverse members of our school community nurtures integrity, honesty and respect. We recognize the need to respect and value each other even through our differences.
