- River City Bears, is a gay private social club with a charitable intent. The club is a directed especially at bears, bear friends, and bear admirers. Membership may not be denied for reasons of race, creed, national origin, sexual orientation, sex, or age. The club will hold monthly meetings at its home bar (Buddies On Adams, Peoria, IL) on the third Sunday of the month @ 3 p.m. Meetings will last around one hour. The club will also hold charitable events during the year to raise funds for its list of sponsored charities which are pre-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
