In 2004, when owner Linda Tallitsch decided to open her specialty shop, she visualized a shop with not only the basic supplies needed by cross stitchers, but also different and unique designers and designer items. That is how our boutique concept was born.
Located in downtown Vermilion, Ohio, River Bend Stitchery is in the historic Harbour Town 1837 district. Across from the park, up the hill from the Vermilion River and two blocks from Lake Erie, one will immediately notice the nautical nature of the area. Vermilion is about 45 minutes west of Cleveland, Ohio and is a popular summer get-away for those who want to experience our “small town on a great lake.” Quaint shops, restaurants, and walks to the river and beach make a day in Vermilion one you will want to return to time after time.
River Bend Stitchery has many boating, lighthouse and local interest charts and supplies. Oberlin Samplers grace the walls with beautiful models of their local lighthouse, landmark, and boating and sailing patterns. Exclusively designed charts for Vermilion are also available.
