Rimrock Software: News
Description
Rimrock Software started in 1985 as Michael Burton Software. It was a part-time business to market shareware for MS-DOS based computers. At first, our products were oriented towards programmers - items such as a text display font editor, an icon editor and a mouse cursor designer. We became Rimrock Software in 1989 and moved into the Windows programming environment with our HelpGen Help File Generator, which provided a method for anyone to create Windows help files for any purpose.
Rimrock Software continued as a part-time effort until April of 1995, when we began to devote our full efforts to the company. We have expanded from just Windows software to teaching, doing Internet CGI programming and designing and creating Web pages for local businesses.
We accepted a full-time position as a Delphi programmer at AMS in 1997, so Rimrock Software once again became a part time effort. We have since had jobs at eMake and are currently employed at Getronics.
