The White Party had it's roots in the South of France. This was in the 60ties: small groups of artists came together in white clothe to make a party. In the Unites States people took over this formula for gay events. In the 80ties
The Black Party was the only party sold out during the Gay Games Amsterdam. It was one of the best dance parties Amsterdam has had last 10 year for gay people. The dj that was spinning in Marcanti Plaza was Billy Carroll.
