Description
Growing up a block from the beach meant surfing was a natural way of life. I believe it all started about the age of 6. I would wake up at sunrise, grab my skateboard and head to the beach for the dawn patrol surf check. I can't remember which came first, the skateboarding or the surfing, we're talking 34 years ago now.
I can remember the thrill of skateboarding to the beach, coasting through the corners of each driveway down the street like one fine line. The excitement of not knowing what was ahead over the sea wall would make each turn all the more important. I did this religiously, rain or shine, everyday possible.
34 years now and I'm still going down the street looking for lines to carve. I've seen a lot of changes over the years, but there's one thing that's remained constant with skateboarding…me.
