RI-Wine of Ascot is a family business which was established by Abe Ritter 25 years ago and later joined by his Partner Johanna. Both of us came from areas in Germany which are close to some of the wine growing regions. In both families wine was part of a meal or a social drink a long time ago.
Whilst living at home I went with my Dad to small vineyards in the Rhine and Mosel area where tastings took place and wine was chosen to be purchased for home consumption or special festivities. An uncle of mine, Professor Ritter, was head of the German Wine Institute in Geisenheim (near Frankfurt ) and well known in the ever growing international wine industry.
RI Wine has been supplying wines from all over the world to Restaurants, Wine Bars, Companies, Golf, Rugby and Cricket Clubs, Special Functions, only to name a few. Prior to our web site we already supplied to small and well known international companies not only drinks but also a wide range of gifts for promotions, special events or presents at Christmas, Anniversaries etc.
