- The Rhee family is headed by Moon-jhong and Hwa-ja. Natives of Korea, they moved to the U.S. in the late '60s. Moon-jhong is a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. Hwa-ja enjoyed a long career as a computer programmer/analyst at Raytheon, worked at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD, but is now happily retired. They live in Silver Spring, MD, in the same house where they raised four children. Both are avid golfers, even though Hwa-ja swore she would never become a golf-addict like Moon-jhong.
