- Mark Mathis is the founder and Executive Director of CARE. He is a former TV news reporter and anchor turned media consultant and trainer. Mark has worked with a broad array of people and organizations on their media issues from the National Football League to the Department of Justice to public relations organizations across the country. He is a highly regarded speaker who frequently presents his views on the media at conferences nationwide. In 2002 Mark published Feeding the Media Beast: An Easy Recipe for Great Publicity. The book received excellent reviews regionally and nationally, including a lengthy review in The Wall Street Journal. The book is now in its third American printing. It is also published in Russia, China and India, with other foreign language editions on the way. Mark's wife Dianne Anderson has spent twenty-five years in television news--currently an anchor on CBS's morning news program on Albuquere's KRQE. Mark and Dianne have been married for fifteen years and have two children.
