About Carol as a Personal Historian
Carol is an experienced personal historian who began her career organizing and recording the lives of refugees from the former Soviet Union. This collection is now archived in the University of Arizona Library’s special collections. She currently interviews private clients and produces archival quality books for her many clients. Carol is a member of the internationally recognized Association of Personal Historians and has led workshops for their conferences.
Carol was featured in an Arizona Daily Star’s column (September 12, 2003) “Recoding other Peoples’ Pasts.” It describes a biographical/portrait project Carol created of over 20 residents of an assisted care and nursing home facility in Tucson.
