In 1987, I moved from Manhattan to the Mad River Valley in Vermont to pursue my dream of starting a bag design/manufacturing business. The Mad River Valley has always felt like home to me thanks to my mother and father doing their crazy ski commute from New Jersey to Vermont every weekend for many years. They were so happy to be here, and my sister Lesley and I have reaped the benefits. I know we would not have ended up in our beautiful surroundings without them. Vermont is paradise and I knew I wanted to start my company here.
We have enjoyed wonderful success with our line of women's handbags and carryalls. All these years, I have dedicated myself to perfecting my designs and searching for the highest quality materials. Because mountain biking, hiking and skiing are a large part of my lifestyle, I know the importance of making great products of superior quality with a fashionable flair.
