Description
My name is Melinda DeBoer. I have fifteen years experience with Reiki and have been teaching since 1993. I am also an ordained minister, certified Pranic Healer and Iyengar Yoga Instructor. I am the founder of the Reiki and Yoga Wholistic Health Center in Flagstaff, AZ. I am a Master Teacher of Usui and Karuna Reiki®. And now enough of the statistics. I believe that we are all born Reiki Master Teachers. The Reiki training simply helps us to remember our Divinity.
My home base is in the beautiful ponderosa pines of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. The Grand Canyon is 1.5 hours from my home and Sedona is 45 minutes away. This place is literally heaven on earth and I thank God for the honor of living and loving here.
When I was twelve years old, I decided to become a missionary when I grew up so I could share God's good news around the world. Well, my parents, especially my dear Father, was fearful for me to go to places of unrest where I might be killed. I remember saying my prayer and just turning it over to God to direct me in whatever service was best. When I turned fifteen, I developed severe migraine headaches. After many tests and medications the headaches only grew worse. At age 21, co-workers would literally have to take me home from work because my sight, speech and motor skills would be paralyzed. After being confined to bed for 2-3 days, I would return to work and wait for it to happen again.
