- Redbird Writing Studios is an education center and home-port for people who care about writing. From a single Saturday morning workshop, Redbird has grown to include several year 'round and special topic workshops, seminars, conferences and special events. Over 4000 people have attended sessions at the studios. Part of the charm of Redbird is its location in a former convent/boarding school on the southeast side of Milwaukee, overlooking Lake Michigan. The atmosphere is casual. Everyone is welcome. From beginners to pros, all share their skills and commitment to helping one another.
