- ReadySetGoToCollege.com was developed by the Massachusetts Department of Education and the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education as part of a joint effort to improve high school graduation rates and increase college readiness throughout the Commonwealth. This effort was launched in 2004 when Massachusetts was named one of 10 "honor" states by the National Governors Association, and received a two-year, $2 million grant to redesign our high schools.
