But basically it's like this: I looked at myself in conversation with people I know and respect; I find that a lot of what I want to talk about with them is the books I read. But it doesn't always seem like an appropriate topic; hence the site. If I want to let someone know about a book I'm reading, but it doesn't seem like the proper moment, voila!
