Round Butte Seed Growers, Inc. was started by farm families in Culver, Oregon in 1961. The original purpose of the company was to market crops they and their neighbors grew - at that time mostly grass seed. They also provided products with which to grow those crops - primarily seeds, fertilizers, and chemicals. Round Butte Seed Growers is still owned by two of the original Culver families. They still sell their Central Oregon neighbors' specialty grass crop.
