- The Rational Activist philosophy was created while working on a grassroots campaign for the 2008 Presidential Election. We found that the usage of online social networks, such as Myspace and Facebook, allowed for immediate dissemination of information and sharing of resources. The Rational Activist saw how effective this was for a Presidential Election and decided to expand the concept to multiple issues effecting people. We here at Rational Activism strive to catalogue the best resources for individuals to use their right to free speech to effect a change.
