Description
Random Xcess went live in 2002. It was started as an exercise in website design. Jóse wrote a few scripts that enabled us to have a forum where we could converse, and these worked very well for a while. I really regret not storing those files as I really want to have that little bit of history. This was followed up with a Delphi Forum. Eventually the needs of the members required a more sophisticated forum application. So it was on August 27 2003 that Random Xcess switched it's forum software to phpBB. ezPortal and Photo Album, two phpBB addons from Smartor were bolted on to make Random Xcess what it is today. The site provides a meeting place for members of the Mee family who are scattered around the world. Other people are most welcome.
The main part of the site is the forum. Discussions here range from political to parental to bizarre finds on the net. Members are also able to upload photos to the photo album.
Languages
English, mostly clean although we do keep an open mind. We can also accommodate Spanish as some of our members reside there.
