- Christoph Krenn wins his first singles title on the FIR World Tour at the 3rd Hungarian Open in Budapest (22-4.2) beating Peter Duyck in the final. Together with countrymen Weigl the Austrian also takes the doubles title. Martina Kakosova defended her title in Budapest, but lost in the mixed (with Sochor) to the local winners Zsofia Troznai and Levante Nandori. Veterans (+45) went to German Volker Sach.
