We are a group of graduate and undergraduate students who like to participate in College Bowl tournaments and similar competitions. The exact rules of these competitions vary a bit, but generally, opposing teams of players try to answer trivia questions (about science, history, sports, etc.) and it's a bit like Jeopardy minus the answer-as-a-question format. You buzz in when you know the answer. If you're right, your team gets points and the team as a whole tries to answer a bonus question.
