Quietwater Films makes movies about paddling canoes and kayaks. We got started in September 2006 in Madison, Wisconsin, mainly due to a chance encounter between me (Jeff Bach) and Darren Bush that turned into a long conversation about instructional videos on DVDs. Jeff is behind the camera and in charge of editing and production. Darren is in front of the camera as the expert instructor and host of the canoeing and kayaking DVDs. Jimbo Meador, one of the country's best fly fishing instructors and guides as well as a kayak fishing enthusiast has also worked with us as the host for "inland waters kayak fishing" and the upcoming "gulf coast kayaks fishing".
The five currently available titles are: paddling the solo canoe, paddling the recreational kayak, paddling the tandem canoe, and inland waters kayak fishing, and gulf coast kayak fishing.
