Description
Quarryhill Botanical Garden inhabits sixty-one acres of rolling hills above the pastoral vineyards of Sonoma Valley, California. It houses one of the largest collections of scientifically documented wild source temperate Asian plants in North America. Quarryhill has participated in annual collecting expeditions to China, Japan, India, Nepal, and Taiwan since 1987 to collect seeds and herbarium specimens. The garden also receives wild collected seed courtesy of Indices Seminum from Japan, Taiwan and South Korea and gratefully accepts Asian seed and plants from gardens around North America.
