Quantum Air was originally the dream of Bill and Kathy Fowkes. After realizing the need for a professional, honest and efficient charter/sightseeing operation in the heart of Cariboo country, their home for many years, Bill and Kathy set up shop at the Quesnel airport. Shortly after, their services were expanded to include flight training.
Quantum Air continued to grow, thanks to first class flight training, the "ready when you are" charter service, and the abundance of beautiful destinations that visitors to Quesnel just can't get enough of. However, the time came when Bill and Kathy were ready to hand over the reins to us, Sven and Debbie...
We moved to Quesnel in January 2002 with one goal in mind: to get people of all ages in the air. We have a love and passion for flying and want to pass that on, either with instructing, sightseeing or the Young Eagles program for kids. We have flown the DC-3 in the arctic for a well-known fishing lodge, sat in the captains seat of an Islander in the Carribeans, and spent 5 years instructing/charter flying in Manitoba. All of our experiences will make for a more enjoyable experience for you.
