- Back to 1996, almost the begining of Word Wide Web era. In that time Netscape had just launched Netscape Navigator version 3 while Internet Explorer version 2 was toddling. That was the time of my first experience with the Internet. Internet become popular because ease and power of HTTP the let people explore information of the world with no need to have knowledge about internet and network, no one could refute. Most people enjoy downloading files, something they like, from internet to their own PC. And so do I,..I love to download pictures, midis, softwares...etc. maybe a thousand of megabytes was downloaded to my PC. Most of them are pictures I downloaded from my favorite movies' site. Just want to collect part of history of my favorite movie. So what to do with those downloaded pictures? At first I set it as wallpaper of Windows. Later, I want to use those picture more than making it as wallpaper. I want to set them as cursors, icons on my desktop. That's when the Bitmap to Icon project started. What else we can do? Yes, it would really cool if we can create our own Windows startup and shutdown logo. Not just the plain picture but moving, twinkled little logo. And that is the beginning of Spin Palette BMP project. Those projects are now finished and are published on this homepage now.
