The head and legs of the Pygmy Goat are short in comparison with their body size. The Pygmy Goat's hair is straight and medium-long. It varies in density with seasons and climates. All colors are acceptable in Pygmy Goats. However, the standard animal should have muzzle, forehead, eyes and ears lighter than the dark part of the body.
