horty, a winter bearded dwarf of stunted size, heaved a shell from a pile at his feet and stocked the mortar. With a quick gesture, Shorty plugged his ears with his forefingers and readied himself for the blast. His partner, a red-maned dwarf named Angus, gave a cry and flicked the trigger on the mortar, sending a fiery bomb across the battlefield. Upon the bomb-shell's contact with humanoid flesh or natural grounds, hell would arrive in a terrific show of spraying fire and debris....
