Putteridge Swimming Club
Description
Putteridge Swimming Club is a small club with approximately 80 members. We train three times a week and have swimmers ranging from 6 year old beginners to 16 year old National Swimmers. Our aim is to provide the best possible coaching and teaching opportunities to those who do not wish to train to the intensive levels required by larger clubs.
We are a friendly club organised and run by a committee of volunteers who are helped by many of the swimmers parents.
We compete annually in the 'Chiltern League' which is designed for small clubs like Putteridge. In addition to the Chiltern League, our swimmers compete in friendly galas, opens and our own club compendium competition for which we award trophies at our presentation evening in December.
