Along with our dairy farm, Pure Mist Soaps is a small, family-run business overlooking the Black River Valley in upstate New York. We take pride in producing top quality soaps at affordable prices.
Our soaps are made in small batches right here in our kitchen. We include several choice oils in our recipes such as, olive, coconut, palm, castor, canola, cocoa butter, avocado, and shea butter. Essential oils and fragrances are used for scenting, and we use FDA approved natural pigments for coloring. Some soaps have ground flowers, spices, and herbs added. Since our soap is homemade and cut by hand, no two bars are quite the same. This holds especially true to the marbled soaps. Each one is unique.
Homemade soap is unrivaled. It retains its naturally formed glycerin, (which commercial soap makers remove) making it a very gentle bar of soap. The glycerin also enables them to stay intact right down to the last little sliver.
