Description
Each year in Pulaski County alone, more than one thousand children -- of all ages, races, and economic groups -- are abused, neglected, or abandoned by their families.
In June 2003, Pulaski County had 458 cases -- 776 children -- in the juvenile court system due to abuse or neglect. There were only 17 CASA volunteers.
