Public Salt is owned and operated by Sam Maggiore, an independent, who had his start in the grocery business in the early 1930’s. In addition to his thriving food business, he soon became the largest dealer of beer and soft drinks in Stark County.
In the early 60’s Maggiore’s was the first to develop the drive-thru concept which featured customer convenience and low pricing as a top priority.
With the wintry weather that we experience in Ohio, Public Salt Company, a division of Maggiore’s has a complete line of safety or road salt and calcium chloride.
