Description
In 1997 ProofStat was created to handle internal production for Thomas Register's CD-ROM catalogs. A work in progress, ProofStat grew to encompass not only CD catalogs, but CD logos in 1999, Information Centers in 2000, Custom E-Catalogs in 2001 and Preview Ads in 2002. Today, ProofStat II supports all these products including EZ Search Ads and Thomas Register internet catalogs.
At the core, ProofStat is a repository for managing and storing of all the Thomas Register products. With further integration, ProofStat II provides automated notifications, electronic reminders, product tracking, online proofing, status management and production management. ProofStat has over 830 users on a regular basis encompassing approximately 16,000 transactions annually. These transactions translates in excess of over 40,000 products which are published through the ProofStat system.
ProofStat II - June 2003 marked the launch of a new ProofStat, ProofStat II. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, ProofStat II maintains many of the original concepts and features of ProofStat I, but also offers more features, product support, customization and faster response.
