- progon network engineering provides consulting and implementation services for large WANs based on ATM/SONET/STM/STS and/or TCP/IP. Our focus is on distributed, but still centralized and redundant routing architectures which solve many problems introduced by BGP(4+)-only architectures. We are able to offer advanced network engineering support for small LANs to global WANs, wherever our clients needs are. We've choosen C++, TCP/IP and FreeBSD/Solaris as our strategic platform. We successfully completed many projects involving BGP, OSPF, RIPv1, RIPv2 and the upcoming IPv6. We have comprehensive understanding of higher level standard protocols such as SNMP, DNS, HTTP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, ... too. We feel comitted to the highest standards: All of our employees have successfully completed higher education. The majority holds at least a Master's Degree from a reputable university with marks above average.
