Promax UK was set up in 1989 to help promotion-makers develop their skills and reward their achievements. The annual conference and awards was inspired by the successful annual Promax event in the US.
PROMAX UK has grown in status in line with the resources devoted by broadcasters to the promotion and marketing of TV in the UK. Since 1990, the shape of the organization has changed, with an increasing worldwide network of members, supporters, patrons and friends. Our annual conference boasts a repeat attendance in excess of 60% confirming PROMAX UK as pre-eminent in its field.
We have furthered the aims of promotion and marketing through the annual awards by providing a focus for the creative efforts of promotion and marketing practitioners. Above all, we exist to serve the interests of Promax members and supporters, promoting best practice in the burgeoning world of marketing and promotion in the electronic media.
