Description
In 1996 a premiere Go-Kart track opened it's doors in Etobicoke at the corner of North Queen Street and The East Mall under the name Pro-Kart Indoor Racing. Pro-Kart offered a safe and competitive environment for race enthusiasts to hone their racing skills and have a lot of fun in the process. Pro-Kart's offerings quickly caught on and memberships grew to over 75,000. Pro-kart also became a leading venue for kids' birthday parties, staff parties and corporate functions of all types. But there was something missing. It soon became apparent that Pro-Kart's clientele wanted more, and a vision was born. A one stop venue complete with kart racing, conference rooms for meetings, a fully functional restaurant with an extensive menu, a fully licensed bar and activities to entertain the whole family was needed. Renovations started in January of 2005 and four professionals from the bar and restaurant industry were brought on board including an award winning chef. The result - a one-stop facility ideal for the whole family featuring a 200 seat BBQ style restaurant, two conference rooms for corporate and team building events, over 15 TV's featuring the Leaf game or the latest Formula 1 race, games and activities to entertain the whole family combined with adreniline filled heart pounding kart racing behind the wheel of the fastest go-karts in the GTA. F1 Toronto was born!!!
