Description
SoftUSE was founded in 1986 by Ugur Edev and Tulin Edev, a husband-wife team. After running a Sir Speedy Printing Center for five years, they wanted a better solution for their estimating, invoicing, and accounts receivable. Ugur, a civil engineer by profession, designed a simple software that ran on an IBM PC, Jr. computer. Seeing how the easy-to-use-software improved their business, Ugur and Tulin decided to market it as Printer's Plan.
The first copy of Printer's Plan was sold in 1987 to another Sir Speedy owner in Marietta, Ohio. Printer's Plan sales increased quickly, and by 1989, Printer's Plan became the leading estimating and management program in the small to medium size printing market.
Now, SoftUSE is still the leader in the industry for its easy-to-use, innovative tools and customer-focused service. Printer's Plan has over 2,000 users in the U.S.A. and in Canada. Over 50% of Sir Speedy franchises, about 80% of American Speedy and Allegra Network franchises, and 90% of Signal Graphics franchises use Printer's Plan. Seven out of the past twelve presidents of PrintImage International, the largest association for small to medium size printers, use Printer's Plan.
