- Amanda Joy Crawford, 24, of Winchester, Va., formerly of North Versailles, died suddenly on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006. She graduated from East Allegheny High School in 2000, attended Shenandoah and Penn State universities and was a manager at Buffalo Wild Wings, Winchester. Amanda formerly was employed at Lincoln Square, North Versailles, and previously volunteered at Lincoln Square and a nursing home in Virginia. She loved people, was an excellent listener, gave from her heart and looked for the good in everyone and in all circumstances. She enjoyed writing, and her poetry reflected her love for life. Amanda was an incredible, self-taught student of all religions and especially admired and studied philosophy. She was a musician and will be remembered best for her good Neshmuma (good soul). Beloved daughter of Kenneth and Gay (Eger) Crawford. Dear sister of Melinda (fiance Daniel Perttu), Deborah (husband Bill Ehrlich) and Victoria Crawford. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and all who loved her. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday at ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, PA, 412-824-4332, where services will be at 7 p.m. Monday. The family will be sitting Shivah Tuesday and Wednesday at their residence.
