PMDG - Award-Winning Simulation Software and More
Description
PMDG is a small software company headquartered in Nevada, U.S. We currently employ 9 members from all over the world who all share a passion for flight simulation. In nearly 8 years of business, PMDG has come a long way from initially producing detailed manuals to developing complete airliner simulations today. Please join us, as we enter a new era in the company's history with the release of our Next Generation Simulation Software.
Robert S. Randazzo founded PMDG in late 1997 with the intent to add an educational component to the world of desktop flight simulation. Captain Randazzo is an Airline Transport Pilot rated airline pilot currently based out of Washington, DC. Captain Randazzo has worked in the airline business since 1989 and has served in various management and non management roles during his career from Operations Management to Chief Pilot. He brings a broad array of knowledge in Part 121 Air Carrier operations, ETOPS certification and operations, as well as large aircraft systems and operation to the PMDG team. Captain Randazzo manages the entire PMDG operation and is primarily responsible for programming the mechanical systems on PMDG aircraft. For pleasure he is teaching his wife, Marisa, to fly, he is a vintage aircraft and restoration buff and is building a team to race an SNJ-6 in the National Air Races in Reno, NV in 2005. He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two dogs (Gracie and Bailey).
Marc Harrington is currently attending Florida's Institue of Technology where he is seeking a dgree in Business Administration. Marc, now 21, joined PMDG more than five years ago and was the inspiration that drove PMDG to begin developing airliner simulations in late 1999. Currently involved in cockpit artwork and animation, Marc has primary responsibility to develop the 2D animation sequences used in PMDG's airliner cockpit simulations. Marc was born in Germany and holds dual German/US citizenship. He splits his time as best he is able between his schooling in Florida and his family's home near Frankfurt, Germany. Marc holds a US PPL certificate in addition to being a long time Flight Simulation fan and airline industry afficionado. Marc's work on PMDG airliners is well known within the Flight Simulation community and Marc is frequently credited as being "the idea man" for many new innovations that eventually are found in PMDG products.
