Description

The Power Academy of Irish Dance was founded in 2001 by Lisa Power-Steinmetz and Aubree Shelley. They wanted to share their love for the Celtic Arts, and especially the Art of Irish Step Dance.

The Power Academy was founded to be an affordable, friendly cultural experience for families to enjoy. Students of the Power Academy range in age from 5 to 45 years of age, and have gone on to perform at state festivals, with Artists such as the Trinity Irish Dance Company and Riverdance fiddler Eileen Ivers, in Ireland, and at numerous other events.

About Lisa Power-Steinmetz, TCRG

Lisa danced competitively for eighteen years with a well-renowned school in Southern California, which is one of the first founded in the area. She has danced at many national and international competitions throughout those years. Lisa has recieved regional titles and has danced at the Irish Dancing World Championships numerous times.
