Power in Europe

Description

TISCHNER EUROPEAN UNIVERISTY

The Tischner European University was founded by ZNAK Publishing House in Krakow in February 2003. By creating the University which is expected to become a major institution of higher learning in Poland and in Europe we have demonstrated it is possible to overcome the apathy in Polish public life. We have successfully rallied enthusiastic support of all those who care about improving academic standarts in Poland and achieving educational and research excellence.

The Tischner European University has been established to answer the need. By combining what is the best in Polish and Western intellectual tradition with the best educational models developed at European and American universities it hopes to fill the gap in the Polish system of higher education and to create new standards of excellence in teaching and research that will benefit its graduates and the whole community.
