The PositionClick.com™ marketplace software allows advertisers to upload keyword lists and advertisements. Suppliers (traffic sellers & webmasters) upload raw server referrer log files which specify which keyword they can provide traffic for. The PositionClick.com™ proprietary matching software matches the list of requested keywords with those in inventory. Keywords which happen not to be available for immediate fulfillment will be handled by Overture.com and placed on an auction positing board. Suppliers (ISP’s, Webmasters, Search Engines, Second Tier PPC’s, and web portals) can then bid on the keywords. Advertisers approve the bids on the basis of price, relevance and evidence as provided in server logs. All traffic is passed through PositionClick.com™ to ensure compliance and accuracy.
