Welcome to the POSH Neighborhood
Description
After working for several years on other Web sites (and sending far too many feedback messages to their owners), I decided to build one of my own and am in the process of renovating it. Constructive feedback is welcome.
There are pages here about my professional experience and links to articles I wrote that were published on different Web sites, including MacWEEK.com. I'll be adding more links and other material later (but no photos of pets :).
Once upon a time (in 1994, when domain names were free from InterNIC), I wanted to get a domain. Numerous sci-tech friends insisted that I choose a short name that would be easy to spell and to remember. Even then, many names were already taken. After pondering the problem, I chose a short name that is connected to my aspirations to learn sailing (I love to be on the water!), and to live well: POSH, an acronym that stands for Port Out, Starboard Home.
