Portable Review is dedicated to bringing our readers in-depth, hands on reviews of all things portable. When Portable Review was founded, there were few sites dedicated solely to handheld gaming. Since our start two years ago, we have gained a faithful readership and hope to continue growing as the portable gaming world increases in popularity.

It's been a long and winding road over here at Portable Review. We've went through many changes through our life, and hopefully you've all enjoyed them. When we started out, sites dedicated to handheld gaming were far and few in between. Now with the recent release of the DS and the PSP, handheld gaming is on the rise. We hope to cover the battles, between graphics and innovation, with the latest coverage possible.

This was started back in late October of 2003, by three portable gaming enthusiasts who had just come off of a brief stint as editors for a small GBA site. Bloodspoor and Fastbilly knew each other from another small GBA site, called GBA Unlimited. Which the way I understand it, they left to work on the other GBA site. Knives was new to the group, but made their ideas into something real (which sounds corny, but it's true). After the GBA site failed due to bad management, we all decided to create our own site, Portable Review.
