Porta Target Inc. is located in Grant, Florida and was founded on the values of quality, ethics and integrity by its president, Paul Scholem in 1983. The company incorporated in 1986. Porta Target was the first commercial manufacturer of steel target systems, now considered the standard in law enforcement and military firearms training.
Our primary focus is to provide the law enforcement / military training community with the best training equipment possible to achieve one goal: Save Lives.
Government studies conducted to develop safety criteria were based solely on our steel targets. While these results are frequently quoted by our competitors, they only apply to our targets.
