Heartbeat Products, LLC. has created PortaMEe™, a line of high styled child carriers with lumbar support. We are the first company to offer a baby carrier where functional parenting needs truly meets sophisticated design. As a working parent on the go, Robin Stein conceived and created the PortaMEe™ design, in response to the void in the marketplace of a baby carrier that was attractive, provided eye-contact, as well as lumbar support for common back fatigue and discomfort. Robin researched the marketplace and determined that that we are not only in the biggest baby boom in over 40 years, we are in a luxury market boom as well. As a passionate pioneer in product development, Robin utilized her 14 years of experience and developed the PortaMEe™ carrier where the caregiver can comfortably carry a baby keeping themselves truly hands-free and their child happy.
Jennifer Gilbert, an award winning entrepreneur and founder of SAVE THE DATE®, understood the need of providing customized solutions and trending in the marketplace and joined forces with Robin to found PortaMEe™. Jennifer built her company by providing sophisticated, customized solutions for all of her clients’ needs. As a busy mother and executive on the go, with cell phone in one hand and a baby in tow, Jennifer could not find a baby carrier that was truly hands-free, yet simple to use, stylish and sophisticated.
