- he Polar Artists Group (P.A.G.) is a not-for-profit, International society of polar artists dedicated to promoting awareness of the polar regions. The P.A.G. links polar artists and scientists by conservation and promoting awareness of the polar regions, and effects of climate change on the environment and people through art, education, and special projects. This unique collaborative relationship between artist and scientists increases the public's awareness and understanding of polar science, creates a new medium for scientific outreach, and engages artists in the early stages of research communications and outreach. The Polar Artists Group links directly with International Polar Year research and helps meet IPY outreach and public awareness goals.
