- As an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia, I was an executive member of UBC Persian Club, a non-profit student organization. At that time, my colleagues and I took part in organizing numerous gatherings and cultural events in Vancouver which aimed at exploring and bridging Iranian, Canadian, and other cultures. These activities gave us the opportunity to deal with general public directly and also make valuable and strong connections not only in the Persian community, but among other ethnic groups as well.
